The boat-Casulen II GBR 1388L
The boat that I am going to complete this trip in is my Corribee 21, Casulen II. She is an extremely seaworthy boat, capable of standing up to strong winds under surprisingly large amounts of sail. Casulen II was built in 1978 and is therefore very strong in her lay up.

Since purchasing Casulen II in 2005, she has been completely rebuilt, hence she is laid out exactly as I would like her, and I know exactly where everything is. All of the modifications we have carried out have been aimed at making her easier to handle and more seaworthy. Corribees have completed many amazing voyages and have proved their seaworthiness on many occasions. Mike Spring sailed `3M Mariner` out to the Azores and back in 1983. More recently, Ellen MacArthur sailed Iduna around Britain in 1994, and in 2006, Katie Miller followed in her footsteps on board Elektra to raise funds for the Ellen MacArthur trust. Both Roger Taylor and Jake Kavangh are planning to enter the Jester Azores this year, and Roger is planning on entering the Jester Challenge in 2010. Roger has already completed two amazing trips in his Junk rigged Corribee.
